What it is
ProtoModule is an HDMI stick you plug into the back of any TV. When you set it up, it walks you through a simple onboarding: connect to your home WiFi, pair your Bluetooth headset, done.
The stick is a local MCP server. It runs on your network, in your home. Any agentic coding tool, Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, Droid, and more, can discover it on your WiFi and stream real-time visuals to your TV.

Four moments
ProtoModule is built around four moments. Each one is a sentence you might actually say.
"Show me on the big screen." Your agent streams charts, diffs, logs, and diagrams to the TV in real time. You lean back and watch the work happen.
"Mom, can you see this?" Family calling that just works. One green button, pre-paired contacts, no manual, no shaking iPad.
"Welcome home." The TV wakes on presence. It shows your day, your home, your calendar. It fades to art when you don't need it.
"How's my Mission going?" For large, multi-session work, your agent runs a plan and the TV shows a Mission Board. Progress, current task, blockers, all at a glance.

What we are not
It helps to be clear about what ProtoModule is not.
- Not a streaming stick. Fire TV, Roku, and Apple TV are not competition. We don't do content apps.
- Not a smart display. Echo Show and Nest Hub are too small. This is the biggest screen in the home.
- Not a surveillance device. Local-first by default. Your data stays on the stick.
- Not a walled garden. MCP is open. Your agent, your tools, your choice.
- Not a subscription trap. Hardware-only. No required fees.
We are the first iteration of an agent companion platform. An HDMI stick that runs an MCP server locally. A real-time bridge between your laptop and your TV. A visual canvas for Missions. A platform that grows with the agentic web.
Why now
The agents are here. Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, and Droid are shipping structured workflows. Missions are emerging as the next step beyond single sessions. MCP has become the standard, not a bet.
And 2.5 billion TVs sit in homes, dark.
The bridge is missing. ProtoModule is the bridge.
